Exploring Curiosities Through an Online Course

Amal has motivated me enough for the things which I wanted to do at some point in my life. For this project, I recall the skills which I wanted to learn ever. I had planned to learn about Search Engine Optimization one year ago but couldn’t start a proper course for it because I’d been in procrastination mode and guess what there were no deadlines so it was impossible to force myself to get registered in a course and complete it.
The next step was to search for a good online course regarding SEO. A friend of mine took a free course on DigiSkills and she gave me really good feedback related to it. So I thought why not give it a try.
I registered myself in the SEO course on DigiSkills. This platform offers free courses all over Pakistan. The course is very comprehensive. Its content is divided into different weeks. I watched videos of the very first week. For the first week, it was pretty basic and simple consisted mostly of non-technical parts. Since it’s an SEO course, it discussed different search engines Bing, Yahoo search engine, Google, etc, and how google overtook all other search engines. The course is very informative as I came to know about the company Alphabet company which is the parent company of Google. It described the difference between On-page optimization and Off-page optimization etc.

I’m thankful to Amal for teaching me how to become a lifelong learner. I’m glad that we started the journey with the question of how can we become lifelong learner and ending it with the answer by implementing the practices in actuality.
